At Little Barcelona, we offer authentic Spanish cuisine without the plane ticket. We're a locally owned Spanish restaurant and gourmet shop dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests through warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care.

We're looking for a reliable, service-oriented person to join our front-of-house team. While serving experience is an asset, we welcome applicants from hospitality, retail, tourism, customer service, and other guest-facing environments who take pride in their work and are eager to learn.

Please note: Applicants must live within easy commuting distance of Prescott, Ontario. We are unable to consider candidates who require relocation or sponsorship.

What You'll Do:

- Welcome and serve guests in a warm, professional manner
- Guide guests through our menu and share knowledge of Spanish cuisine and products
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Process payments and assist with opening and closing duties
- Restock inventory and maintain front-of-house organization
- Keep the restaurant clean, polished, and inviting
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Pitch in wherever help is needed to ensure an exceptional guest experience

Requirements:

- Valid Smart Serve Certification (required)
- Fluent English communication skills (required)
- Must currently live within easy commuting distance of Prescott, Ontario and have reliable transportation.
- Professional presentation and demeanour
- Availability for lunch (11-3:30pm) Wed-Sat., and evening (4:30-10:30pm) Thu-Sat. services.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Serving experience is an asset but not required

Position Details:

- Part-Time
- Approximately 12-25 hours per week
- Wednesday–Saturday availability required
- Tips on top of base pay. Tips are shared between the kitchen and serving staff as we work as a team and each team member is important to the whole experience.
- We cannot guarantee a set number of hours per week. We schedule based on reservations and business needs, please only apply if this works for you.
