We are seeking an experienced Inside Counter Sales Representative to join a construction material and industrial parts distributor in Coquitlam.

This is a full-time and permanent opportunity for a customer-focused professional with strong wholesale distribution and order desk experience who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum 5+ years of inside sales, counter sales, or order desk experience within a wholesale distribution environment, preferably serving the construction, industrial, manufacturing, building materials, or related sectors.
- Previous experience handling parts, products, or materials for construction and industrial customers is required.
- Strong understanding of order processing, quotations, customer service, and product support within a distribution setting.
- Experience responding to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
- Proficiency with ERP systems; Oracle experience is considered an asset. Training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret customer requests, specifications, schedules, and project requirements.
- Self-motivated, confident, and proactive individual with a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, operations, shipping, and other internal departments.
- Solid organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- References and a background screening will be conducted for candidates moving forward in the hiring process.

Role Responsibilities:

- Process customer orders received via telephone, email, and walk-in inquiries.
- Read, analyze, and interpret customer requests, schedules, and order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Answer customer product and technical inquiries and provide appropriate solutions.




- Enter customer orders into the company ERP system while accurately capturing specific requirements.
- Monitor scheduled shipment dates and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and expediting when required.
- Prepare and follow up on customer quotations under the direction of the sales team.
- Process customer returns, credits, and related documentation.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and responsive service.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Shipping, Operations, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams to support customer needs.
- Maintain accurate customer and order records within the company system.
- Support ongoing sales growth by identifying opportunities to assist customers and provide additional product solutions.
- Reporting to the Branch Supervisor & Branch Manager
