We are currently seeking a candidate for the following vacancy:

Sales & Service Associate (Full Time, Permanent)

Location: Sudbury, Ontario

In this job position, the candidate will perform the following job duties:

- Scheduling customer contracted maintenance work (PM, PMO, Monthly, Weekly, LBT)
- Ensure work orders are opened and closed on a timely basis and coded as warranty when applicable to properly support the Warranty Coordinator and Service Technicians in field and to increase productivity.
- Quoting and Scheduling Repairs - Ensure that all recommended generator repairs are quoted by the Regional Business Development Manager – Central Ontario prior to proceeding with any additional work. All approved major and minor repairs shall then be scheduled and executed in a timely manner.
- Prepare quotes for Rentals and Service Agreements including follow-up to meet targets.
- Ensure accurately completed proposals and prepare responses to ensure profitable service agreements.
- Responsible for maintaining updated customer information in ERP systems.
- Responsible for monitoring follow ups on both renewals and estimates/quotes using all modes of communication until a customer decision has been finalized.
- Maintain and ensure all contract quotes are generated via ERP system and assist customers with new maintenance contract requests.
- Provide clients with clarifications and justifying service estimates/quotes within the service requirements of what is included and detailing what will not be included in the service quote/estimate.
- Coordinate and execute generator rentals.




- Dispatch Service Technicians to perform service repair and or maintenance work including emergency customer calls while minimizing windshield time and maximizing productivity and by way of efficient scheduling.
- Proactively communicate to customers of after-hours rates and alternatives prior to dispatching when overtime charges may apply.
- Ensure that any noteworthy information from a work order is relayed to the Technician e.g., parts required, cable lengths, number of Technicians required for execution, or any other special requirements are documented accurately for future reference.
- Responsible for answering and directing all incoming calls.
- Acknowledge all incoming customer orders by phone and or email to ensure same day turnaround on received orders and advise customers on delivery.
- Source and procure various generator components via catalogues, calling vendors, OEM dealers or Head Office part department and provide ETA on all orders once sourced.
- Source and procure parts needed for all MCC (Motor Control Center) calls and assign to the work orders.
- Assure all dangerous goods, check out & in and packing slips are accurately completed.
- Communicate with customers, internal or external, on delayed deliveries.
- Responsible for returning parts in a timely and accurate manner when required.
- Work towards resolution of customer complaints and disputes with the assistance from the Regional Business Development Manager – Central Ontario
- Set up Vendors in ERP system
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for the branch.
- Provide operations and administrative support
- Photocopy and file documentation in an accurate manner.
- Provide shipping, receiving and warehouse support as needed.
- Adhere to all safety practices and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will also obtain the following qualifications & skills for this position:





- Construction Estimate or Construction Management Certificate or similar educational background.
- Experience with ERP systems. Experience with Excellent Plains/FieldBoss/BigChange/SAP is an asset.
- 4+ years experience in similar role.
- Experience with generators is an asset.
- Awareness of TSSA, CSA rules and regulations is an asset.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding business acumen with an ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Go-getter attitude equipped with a specialty in and building & maintaining long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Goal-oriented, energetically focusing efforts on meeting priority objectives.
- Proven skills at establishing and building key business partnerships both externally to drive revenue and internally to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Must hold a valid G Class driver’s license with access to reliable transportation.
- Willing to travel.
- Excellent mathematical aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Reliable; excellent punctuality.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook software.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
