Reach Truck and Order Picker - Forklift Operator – Temp to Perm

About Our Client

Our client is a large 3PL company operating in North America, Europe and abroad that is growing and looking for support in their NE Calgary Facility.

What You Will Be Doing, as a Forklift Operator:

- Operate the Reach Forklift to ensure protected and accurate transportation of goods
- Correct and/or report any unsafe conditions or hazards immediately and work towards the goal of “zero” injuries and incidents.
- Follow all safety procedures and use of PPE is mandatory.
- Assist with Pick-Up orders, assist CSR’s/Sales with shipment inquiries.
- Participate in cycle counts as directed.
- Ensure that the storage areas and warehouse is kept clean and tidy, which includes identifying areas where processes could be improved, and work practices amended.
- Provides services for the prompt and accurate filling, packing, and shipping of customer orders.

What You Should Have, as a Forklift Operator:

- Must be able to work under Company policies where experience and independent judgment are needed.
- valid Narrow Aisle Reach License with Crown Reach Experience
- Own transportation to get to and from work – not bus accessible
- Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training.

In Return, You Will Receive:

- $21 per hour + 4% vacation pay
- Paid weekly, every Friday.




- Opportunity for permanent hire
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will Be Working is:

- 2 for D: 5am - 3:30pm Mon to Thu
- 3 for D: 5am - 3:30pm Fri to Sun
- ½ hour lunch (unpaid) & 2 x 15 minute breaks (paid)
