Lead the Bakery/Deli team in a manner that demonstrates day-to-day behaviors that align with and strengthen the Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and brand. Manage the Bakery/deli Department in accordance with the company policies, procedures, programs, merchandising standards and overall expectations. Recruit, train, develop, coach and motivate the bakery/deli team.

Ensures that all products are fresh and meet company quality standards. Perform team performance reviews and action plans for development.



Manage inventory levels and lead scheduled inventory procedures.

Develop sales promotion programs to grow the bakery/deli business. Maintain confidentiality regarding pricing, financial and marketing strategies. Provide leadership and direction in the development and achievement of operational and financial results.

Must have a minimum of 3-5 years retail experience. Must have a minimum 2-3 years experience managing/supervising others. Previous retail management, deli or bakery experience is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and the ability to manage computer files efficiently.
