The Cake Tender is looking for a reliable and hardworking Bakery Assistant to help with our daily bakery production and storefront preparation.

We’re looking for someone organized, productive and willing to jump in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Preparing and assembling storefront products such as cake cups, slices, desserts and other weekly items
- Assisting with baking cakes and other bakery products
- Preparing creams, fillings, sauces and other components
- Portioning, packaging, labelling and stocking products
- Keeping the kitchen, equipment and workstations clean and organized
- Washing dishes and completing regular cleaning/sanitizing tasks
- Restocking ingredients and supplies
- Assisting with general bakery prep and production as needed
- Following recipes, portioning guidelines and food-safety standards





Who We’re Looking For

- Bakery, kitchen or food-prep experience is preferred
- Comfortable following recipes and instructions accurately
- Clean, organized and detail-oriented
- Reliable, punctual and able to work efficiently
- Willing to learn, take initiative and help wherever needed
- Able to work independently once trained
- Weekend availability is an asset
