Job Title : Accountant

Job Type : Permanent position, Hybrid, 2 days on-site, Calgary Alberta

Job Salary : $70,000 - $80,000 / Year depending on experience.

- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare journal entries, maintain ledgers, and ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process with accurate financial data and analysis.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Manage and reconcile sub-ledgers (e.g., fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals).
- Ensure compliance with relevant IFRS accounting standards and internal policies.




- Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
- File tax returns, GST, payroll remittances, and other statutory reports as required.
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Must Haves

- 2‑3+ years of general accounting, hands‑on transactional experience (AR, AP, bank recs, journal entries)
- Valuable attitude, rolls up sleeves, open to learning, and a team player
- Well versed with Excel
