Your everyday with us As an Actuarial Analyst, no two days will look the same. You’ll need solid analytical skills and a love for data/analytics. This role offers flexibility to work remotely within Canada, or in a hybrid or in-office arrangement based out of our Moncton or Quebec offices.
Complete quarterly reporting to analyze and monitor the profitability of group insurance products Communicate with reinsurance partners regarding quotations and technical pricing models and evaluate/review reinsurance treaties Support the implementation and testing of new products or product changes in quotation tools and administrative systems Adapt current business processes and tools to test and accommodate the roll-out of new IT systems and data sources University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance,
or another closely related field Progress toward ASA and/or ACIA designation considered an asset Demonstrated interest and experience in process improvement and automation initiatives Experience building, documenting, and maintaining business process models Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues within complex data sets Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative project team Knowledge of group insurance products considered an asset Bilingualism (EN/FR) is considered an asset. English is requirement, written and verbal, to provide services to our customers and communicate with internal stakeholders Pay Range $53,236 - $$69,000 CAD #The Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Blue Cross Life employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs.
Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
