Certified Teacher – Education Director Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, variable hours, 1.0 FTE MITT is hiring a 1.0 Full-time Certified Teacher - Education Director to serve all MITT's ALCs. Click here to learn more about MITT’s Adult Learning Centres. Provide leadership and oversight for teachers, administrative staff, and daily operations of the Adult Learning Centres.

Lead educational programming, including curriculum oversight, learner supports, course planning, academic appeals, and student recordkeeping. Teach assigned courses and create a safe, effective, and supportive adult learning environment. Support student registration, transcript assessment, learner placement, academic counselling, and educational planning.

Administer staff and student policies. Address complaints, conflict resolution matters. Lead planning and reporting activities,



including education plans, financial plans, government reporting and renewal submissions.

Manage facilities, leases, equipment, security, supplies, fire safety compliance and operational maintenance.

Valid Manitoba Teaching

Certificate.

Previous

Grade 11/12 English teaching experience.

Experience teaching in a blended learning workplace.
