We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Aftercare Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction
- Support children with homework or tutoring needs, ensuring they understand concepts and build confidence
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment conducive to learning and play
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs
- Implement behavior management strategies that foster positive interactions and respect among children
- Assist in planning daily schedules that balance structured activities with free play
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently during aftercare hours
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings or similar environments is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to tutor or teach young learners in various subjects or skills
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in childcare
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to create engaging activities that support children's developmental milestones
