Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the Shop Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of aircraft parts and components. Carry out repair and maintenance on aircraft parts and components such as aircraft batteries, wheels, leading edges, engines, propellers, auxiliary power units and commissary equipment. Perform maintenance under the supervision of the Shop Lead ACA to the level required to obtain a Shop Certification Authority (SCA) Ensure that all documentation used for the repair of parts/components are to the latest amendment (aircraft batteries, tires and wheels) Ensure the shop is tidy at the end of the shift Assist in “on the job” training for current employees and apprentices Maintain yourself up to date with technical information required by the shop understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy Attend training as mandated by the company Passenger/Customer Service: Providing service excellence to internal and/or external customers (passengers).
