Ltd is seeking Aircraft Mechanic , reporting to the Maintenance Operations Manager working out of the Petawawa facility.

The Aircraft

Mechanic will join the existing team of mechanics supporting the CH147F Phase Inspections in support of the Royal Canadian Airforce. Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.

Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).

Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements. Oversees training. 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience required, preferred on CH147F platform. ~ Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Avionics Technician (AME-E) licensed or Military equivalent. ~ Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment. ~ Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods. ~ Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance. ~ Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data. Have successfully completed a formal, CH147 type training course related to their aviation specialty taught by an acceptable training organization.
