Position Overview

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) will conduct airframe, avionics, or structural maintenance using correct tools, methods and equipment. The AMT reports to an ACA, Crew Chief or Lead and is a key member of the maintenance crew.

Responsibilities

- Perform work in accordance with the Work Performed policy and any specialized tasks for which the AMT is trained and authorized.
- Identify and order required parts.
- Complete required computer entries and functions.
- Submit signatures for completion of work.
- Comply with company policies, procedures and standards.
- Maintain accurate personal records.
- Report any issues that could jeopardize production or airworthiness promptly.
- Ensure compliance with airworthiness and safety policies, processes and standards.
- Maintain a safe and tidy workplace.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

- Completion of a Transport Canada Accepted Aircraft Maintenance Training course or an accredited equivalent.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience on commercial or military aircraft is an asset.
- Capability to work on complex assignments requiring judgment, initiative and specialized knowledge.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in English and French communication.
- Demonstrated support of corporate values of Excellence,

- Preferred experience in line maintenance in a fast‑paced environment.

Physical Requirements

- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 70 lbs.
- Work in confined spaces.

Working Conditions

- Adaptable schedule including overtime and shift work aligned with flight operations.
- Work outdoors as required.
- Travel required; international travel may also be required.

Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities

- Work in compliance with occupational health and safety acts and regulations.
- Follow safe work practices, procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately.

Security Clearance Requirements

Position requires Canadian Government Level 2 clearance and access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
