Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy and improve an industrial strategy.
- Understand, analyze and integrate the capacity requirements of the manufacturing cells and assembly lines of the aerostructures sites for the medium and long term.
- Enable the ramp‑up of Bombardier programs by ensuring optimal utilization of manpower and production equipment, evaluate and propose key indicators to measure manufacturing and assembly process productivity and performance measurement.
- Within the framework of a new program or production repatriation, develop the sequence of production activities for assembly stations; facilitate workshops with multidisciplinary teams to design, optimise and implement the best solutions for production cells and assembly lines.
- Prepare and present roadmaps, dashboards, and status updates at plant management committee meetings.
- Plan and deliver competitive bids with executable assumptions, including directing activities to meet external and internal deadlines, integrating input from engineering, methods, operations, purchasing, finance and other core team members, managing change, risk and constraints to bid execution; analyse and challenge input received from functions to validate accuracy, completeness and competitiveness.
- Understand and manage requirements for complex industry, contractual, legal or financial solutions.
- Support the preparation of financial data for bids from various functions and procurement divisions,
supporting financial activities and final synthesis.
- Prepare final proposals for clients.
- Develop benchmarking tools to quickly assess bid costs and validate and/or challenge those costs.
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Discipline: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or another scientific discipline, or other relevant experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Background in Finance (asset).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with industrial engineering approaches, operations management and implementation of current manufacturing lines.
- Experience in project management and team leadership.
- Applied concepts of line balancing, value stream mapping (VSM), material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes in the aerospace industry (asset).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels (French and English).
- Interest in new trends in the aeronautical field and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage priorities and overcome setbacks.
- High level of responsibility, initiative, autonomy and innovation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams tools, including MS Project.
