Pay Information

- Base pay range: CA$110,000.00/yr – CA$130,000.00/yr
- Additional benefits are provided by Quantum Management Services Ltd. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and perform month-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Support variance analysis between actual results, budget, and forecasts.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and documentation.
- Assist with intercompany transactions, eliminations, and consolidations as needed.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing historical data, insights, and trend analysis.
- Support internal and external audits, preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Monitor and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (FP&A;, operations, and tax) to ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting.




- Assist with system implementations or enhancements, including ERP system upgrades or process automation initiatives.
- Implement and analyze various performance indicators and take the necessary measures with the managers concerned.
- Participate in other projects as necessary.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA designation preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multi‑entity setting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.
- Advance proficiency with data management.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in financial analysis or FP&A; in addition to accounting.
- Exposure to audit support, multi‑currency and multi‑entity workplace.
- Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives.
