Job Summary

Join our team as an Apprentice Pipefitter and kickstart your career in the skilled trades industry! This position offers hands-on experience in pipefitting, welding, and mechanical systems, providing a solid foundation for a future in construction, or maintenance. You will learn to interpret blueprints and schematics, operate hand tools and measuring devices, and assist with installation and repair of piping systems.

Responsibilities

- Assist experienced pipefitters with installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems across various projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills to measure, cut, and assemble pipes accurately.
- Support rigging activities for lifting and positioning heavy pipes or equipment safely.




- Conduct routine inspections of piping systems for leaks or defects as part of maintenance tasks.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of installation and repair work.

Experience

- Knowledge in hydro testing, flange bolt up, rigging and lifting are an asset
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, or schematics can be advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team in physically demanding settings.
