Burlington Hall Sporting Club is seeking a visionary and high-energy Aquatics Director to lead one of the premier private swim programs in the region. Spanning a massive 200,000 square foot campus, our aquatic facilities include three distinct pools (including both year-round indoor and seasonal outdoor venues).

We aren't just looking for a pool manager; we are looking for a business leader with a proven track record of scaling large-scale swim schools and delivering an elite member experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Program Leadership: Oversee the strategic growth and daily operations of a high-volume swim school, ensuring consistent technique instruction and progression tracking.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a large team of lifeguards and swim instructors. You will be responsible for scheduling, performance reviews, and maintaining a culture of professional excellence.
- Multi-Pool Oversight: Manage the logistics and safety standards for three separate pool environments, balancing competitive swimming, recreational member use, and private lessons.
- Financial Performance:



Drive revenue through program innovation and enrollment growth while managing departmental budgets and equipment procurement.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with Ontario health regulations and LifeSaving Society standards across all indoor and outdoor decks.

Candidate Requirements

- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a senior leadership role within a large-scale aquatic center or private club.
- Swim School Mastery: Demonstrated success in managing a high-enrollment swim school (500+ students per session preferred).
- Management Prowess: Experience managing a diverse team of 30+ staff members.
- Technical Certifications:
- National Lifeguard (NL) – Pool & Waterfront (preferred).
- LSS Swim & Lifesaving Instructor/Examiner.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or equivalent facility management designation.
- The "Private Club" Touch: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a discerning membership base.
