Group (SNG), in partnership with AECOM,is looking for Archaeology Field Technicians to join our growing team. If you're passionate about archaeology, enjoy physicallyactive work, and want to gain hands-on field experience while contributing to theprotection of cultural heritage, this is your opportunity to make an impact andbe part of something exciting. Gain hands-on experience in archaeological survey, excavation, and artifact recovery Opportunities for travel and exposure to diverse field environments Meaningful work that contributes to heritage conservation and community growth Conduct archaeological field investigations,including test pit surveys and pedestrian surveys under the direction of licensedarchaeologists Participate in Stage 2, 3, and 4 archaeological assessments, excavations, andsite evaluations Assist with artifact recovery, collection, cataloguing, and documentation Complete accurate field notes, mapping, photography, and site records Support field teams in meeting project objectives and regulatory requirements Follow all health, safety, environmental,and project-specific procedures Maintain equipment and project resources used in field activities Identify and report field-related concerns and site issues to supervisors Ensure work is completed in accordance with skilled and regulatory standards Represent SNG and AECOM professionallywhile interacting with clients, stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and the public Work collaboratively with archaeology team members, supervisors,



and project managers Assist with other field and project-related duties as required Current enrollment in or completionof post-secondary education in Archaeology, Anthropology, Cultural Resource Management,or a related field preferred Experience performing physically demanding outdoor work is required Previous archaeological field experience is considered an asset Knowledge of archaeological field methods and procedures Basic computer proficiency Adaptability and willingness to learn in dynamic field environments Ability to travel throughout Ontario Ability to work out of town, including overnight stays Availability to start as soon as possible This position is primarilyfield-based and requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions, includingheat, rain, rough terrain, dense vegetation, and insect exposure.

Frequent travelthroughout Ontario is required, and field assignments may include remote locationsand overnight accommodations.
