Join our dynamic team as a full time Assistant Accounting Manager, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will drive our financial operations forward! In this vital role, you will support the accounting department by managing essential financial data, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping, and assisting with various accounting processes. Responsibilities
- Perform data entry for invoices, payments, and other financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Workday, PeopleSoft, or UltiPro.
- Manage accounts payable processes by verifying and processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments.
- Handle accounts receivable tasks including invoicing clients, tracking outstanding balances, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with payroll processing using systems like ADP, Ceridian, Kronos, or Kronos Workforce Management to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Support account analysis and budgeting activities by preparing reports and reviewing financial data for consistency.
- Collaborate with team members on bookkeeping tasks, account reconciliation, and maintaining organized financial records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Workday, PeopleSoft or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Familiarity with payroll systems including ADP, Ceridian, Kronos or UltiPro is highly desirable.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; detail-oriented mindset for account reconciliation and account analysis.
- Basic understanding of financial services and budgeting principles.
- Strong math skills coupled with analytical thinking to interpret financial data effectively.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new accounting software like Workday or PeopleSoft; experience with multiple platforms is a plus.
