Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Gérant to join our dynamic team! Duties

- Assist the Gérant in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise staff shifts, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to quality standards
- Support food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high culinary standards
- Oversee food handling and safety practices in compliance with health regulations
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems accurately
- Lead team training sessions, including interviewing recent candidates and onboarding new hires
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a welcoming environment
- Monitor restaurant cleanliness, food safety protocols, and overall hygiene standards
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food orders, inventory management,



and food presentation
- Assist in bartending or barista duties as needed to support beverage service

Skills

- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles with supervising responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS for cash handling and order processing
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with food industry standards, kitchen operations, and hospitality best practices
- Strong communication skills for interviewing candidates, training staff, and collaborating with team members
- Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of bartending or barista experience is a plus for supporting beverage services
