VCIM is seeking an Associate Investment Analyst to join our integrated investment management team. Working collaboratively with the Investment Management Team, you will assist in the day-to-day management of equity mandates in accordance with VCIM’s Responsible Investment approach.

Full-time, Permanent Vancity head office in Vancouver, B.hybrid work arrangement , you will be expected to come on-site at least 2-3 days every week . Conducting fundamental research and providing well-formulated investment recommendations so that portfolio performance is optimized, and risk is managed. You will be searching for equity opportunities predominately in Canada across the entire market cap spectrum.

Monitoring investment assets across VCIM mandates in accordance with investment policy guidelines and VCIM investment strategy objectives. Discussing potential and current equity investments with the rest of the Equities team in a thoughtful and open manner. Facilitating the development of necessary tools for use by the Equities team to assist in portfolio construction and investment research. 1-3 years of experience in public equities, investment banking, private equity, or a related role Strong business writing, presentation, and communication skills Proficiency with financial modeling and a robust understanding of accounting concepts Progress toward or completion of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
