Join our agile team as an Automatic Gate Opener Technician, where your expertise will drive the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated gate systems that enhance security and convenience for our clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including sensors, CCTV, low voltage electrical systems, and computer networking. As a vital part of our service team, you will ensure that gate automation systems operate flawlessly, providing safety and efficiency for a variety of commercial and residential properties.

Duties

- Install, troubleshoot, and repair automatic gate openers and related hardware across diverse sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately configure systems.
- Set up and maintain sensors, CCTV cameras, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and telecommunication components to ensure seamless operation.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical parts, low voltage wiring, power tools, and hand tools to guarantee safety and functionality.
- Configure computer hardware and network connections necessary for integrated gate control systems.




- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals; perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide comprehensive system solutions while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Strong construction experience with hands-on knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with computer hardware setup, networking principles, CCTV installation, and telecommunication systems.
- Electrical experience with low voltage wiring, sensors, IDS integration, and schematics comprehension.
- Knowledge of security systems including sensors, alarms, access control devices, and automation controls.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain technical details clearly to clients.
