As a Commodity Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing and managing key product categories while working closely with suppliers, sales teams and operations.

This is not simply a purchasing role. We are looking for someone who understands that good buying decisions are driven by the market, customer demand, pricing, margins and relationships. You will negotiate with suppliers, monitor market conditions, manage inventory levels and ensure the business has the right products at the right price and at the right time.

Purchase and manage assigned commodity and product categories Negotiate pricing,



terms and purchasing agreements Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and market opportunities Manage inventory levels and support effective inventory turns Identify purchasing opportunities and help maximize margins Coordinate with sales, operations and logistics Analyze purchasing, sales and inventory data to support business decisions 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, sales, distribution or a related commercial role. wholesale or distribution industry would be a strong asset, particularly within building materials, construction products or another commodity-driven environment.
