Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Fleet Technician

Location: NORTH YORK, TORONTO

Pay: $40–$45/hour, depending on experience

Employment Options: Hourly or Subcontractor / Flat-Rate

We are a growing automotive repair shop specializing in Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans and commercial fleet maintenance. We are looking for a reliable, efficient mechanic who can install factory/OEM parts and complete routine maintenance at a fast, consistent pace.

This position is best suited for a technician who is experienced with Sprinter vans or similar commercial vehicles, works efficiently, follows repair procedures, and takes pride in completing quality work with minimal vehicle downtime.

Position Requirements:

- English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must be able to drive vans and light-duty trucks.
- Valid Ontario G driver’s license with clean abstract.
- 3-5 years recent, relevant experience working on cars, vans, pick-up trucks and/or walk-in vans.
- 310S or 310T Licensed Preferably but not mandatory.

Responsibilities ● Install factory/OEM replacement parts on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans

● Complete repairs accurately and efficiently

● Perform routine maintenance and preventative services

● Perform oil changes, brake service, filter replacement, fluid services, and other basic maintenance

● Remove and replace mechanical components according to manufacturer procedures

● Follow work orders, repair instructions, and shop procedures

● Work at a steady, productive pace while maintaining quality and safety

● Complete assigned jobs within expected timeframes

● Perform basic inspections and report any additional issues to management

● Maintain accurate service records

● Keep the work area clean, organized, and professional

● Help keep fleet vehicles on the road with minimal downtime

What We’re Looking For





● Proven experience as an automotive or diesel technician

● Mercedes-Benz Sprinter experience is strongly preferred

● Strong parts installation and mechanical repair skills

● Ability to work quickly and efficiently

● Comfortable working on commercial and fleet vehicles

● Ability to follow factory procedures and repair instructions

● Reliable attendance and dependable work habits

● Strong attention to detail

● Valid driver’s license

● Own tools suitable for the work

● Professional attitude and ability to work independently

Advanced diagnostic experience is not required. The primary focus of this position is efficient parts installation, routine maintenance, and completing assigned repairs correctly and on time.

Compensation

We offer flexibility based on how you prefer to work:

Hourly: $40–$45/hour based on experience and skill level.

Subcontractor / Flat Rate: A subcontractor arrangement with flat-rate pay is also available for qualified technicians.
