You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale mobile projects involving multiple back‑end systems. You will be a key member of the technology team supporting Digital Transformation, successfully implementing complex, enterprise‑scale solutions on modern platforms with a variety of system integration and patterns. As a Java/J2EE Developer, you first need to be an expert programmer.
You will lead development and implementation of solutions to main Digital channels in a hands‑on way. Be good at coding complex system and business logic in an effective way.

Be valuable at problem solving, troubleshooting and have sound understanding of performance tuning. Mentorship – Coach junior developers in the team and provide technical guidance.
You can demonstrate 3+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, Web Services (SOAP, JSON and RESTFul) and Angular.
Proven and solid hands‑on experience of a minimum of 3+ years in Microservices and API development in an enterprise environment. Asset if you are familiar with Agile methodologies, Cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP) and Containerization (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
Oversees complex technical design and integration by collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, multi‑platform solutions. The role devises new methods and procedures using strong analytic and inductive thinking, developing project plans based on appropriate standards and methodology. You are able to coach and provide technical guidance to junior developers in the team to help them to grow.
