Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper/ Prep Cook (Banquet) to support our kitchen operations during events and prep hours. This role is ideal for candidates with some kitchen or banquet experience, but we are also open to training motivated individuals. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation (cutting, cleaning, portioning)
- Support plating and food service during banquet events
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas, and equipment
- Help with receiving and storing deliveries
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed
- Assist with setup and cleanup for events

- Some experience in a kitchen or banquet environment preferred
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
- Robust work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good time management and attention to detail
Requirements
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and events
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene (Food Handler Certification is an asset)
