Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality haircuts, styles, and grooming services tailored to individual client preferences.
- Sanitate tools and workspaces in accordance with health and safety regulations to maintain a clean environment.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on hair care and styling.
- Upsell retail products that complement the services provided, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Perform front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing payments.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business through excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and texturizing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
- Experience in retail sales is a plus, with a focus on upselling products.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices relevant to the beauty industry.
