Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Serve food promptly and professionally, maintaining food safety and handling protocols at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering, processing payments, and giving correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Provide attentive customer service by addressing guest inquiries, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Assist in opening or closing duties as needed, including inventory checks and restocking supplies.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred; experience in bartending or serving is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order entry and payment processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
