Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Setup Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications. Candidates must have their own tools and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual brake press machines

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders

- Select proper tooling and perform machine adjustments

- Perform first-piece inspection and quality checks

- Ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances

- Troubleshoot setup and production issues

- Maintain a clean and safe work area

- Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

- Minimum 2–3 years of brake press setup experience

- Robust knowledge of metal forming and bending processes

- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools

- Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

- Must have own tools

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to work independently

- Reliable and punctual
