We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and providing friendly service to our customers.
Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages according to standard recipes.
- Ensure all food and beverage items are prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Uphold the café’s standards for quality, presentation, and service.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A passion for boba culture and eagerness to learn about various beverages is a plus.
