About the Position:

We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Building Caretaker to join our team in Abbotsford. This part-time role requires 12 hours of work per week, broken down into 4 hours per day, 3 days a week during weekdays. The caretaker will be responsible for overseeing a variety of caretaking and janitorial duties, ensuring the building is well-maintained, clean, and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform general caretaking and janitorial duties (cleaning common areas, floors, washrooms, etc.)
- Oversee move-ins and move-outs, ensuring all necessary procedures are followed.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors for maintenance and repairs.
- Handle communication with the company office, reporting issues or updates on building operations.
- Ensure building safety and cleanliness, addressing tenant or visitor concerns as needed.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in caretaking, janitorial work, or facility management is an asset.
- Strong communication skills,



with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, contractors, and office staff.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in addressing maintenance or cleanliness issues.
- Organized and reliable, able to manage time and tasks efficiently within the set hours.
- Must be able to work independently and take initiative when needed.
