We build a business that lasts. We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team for an onsite engagement in Halifax. In this role, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze business needs, and support the delivery of solutions within a controlled goods environment.

The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating complex projects, facilitating effective communication, and operating in an environment where security, confidentiality, and adherence to established processes are essential. Gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business, functional, and non-functional requirements. Facilitating stakeholder workshops and interviews to identify business needs, gaps, and opportunities for process and systems improvement.

Documenting current- and future-state processes, business requirements, process flows, and other supporting artifacts. Collaborating with project teams on solution design, testing, implementation, and change activities. Translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements and communicating key findings and recommendations to project and client teams.





Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring appropriate handling of sensitive information in accordance with applicable controlled goods and security requirements. Post-secondary education in business, computer science, or a related field from a recognized institution Progressive experience as an IT Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or in a similar role. Demonstrated experience with requirements analysis, stakeholder facilitation, gap analysis, and process mapping and design.

Experience working within a formal systems development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements documentation, use cases, testing, and requirements traceability. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build consensus across business and technical stakeholders. Ability to meet any security screening and Controlled Goods Program requirements associated with the role. CBAP certification or willingness to obtain it is considered an asset.

Experience in a client-facing consulting environment and/or public sector is considered an asset.
