Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Temporary Cabinetmaker for an immediate opportunity in Brampton. This role is ideal for a craftsman experienced in manual fabrication and custom architectural millwork. Our shop focuses on high-end, non-kitchen projects and does not use CNC machinery, requiring strong hands-on expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Build high-end custom cabinets and architectural millwork from scratch

- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications

- Operate and maintain manual shop equipment (table saws, edgebanders, etc.)

- Work with solid wood and install premium hardware (hinges, undermount tracks, pocket doors)

- Ensure precision in fitting, leveling,



and finishing of components

- Troubleshoot design issues and resolve onsite challenges independently

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience in custom cabinetry or architectural millwork preferred

- Solid expertise with manual tools (hand tools, pneumatic tools, drills, lasers)

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately

- Solid understanding of shop safety standards (OHSA compliant)

- Physically capable and detail-oriented with strong work ethic

- Background in technical fields or fine arts is an asset
