Your work will directly support the Mining and Environment teams while you gain exposure to cutting-edge environmental regulations. You will have the chance to develop your abilities using various industry-standard GIS software. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teams by digitizing and filing spatial data
- Review and maintain ecological GIS data
- Learn to create maps using ArcGIS and FME tools
- Build creative GIS models for environmental projects
- Help streamline non-spatial data management tasks
Requirements:
- Enrolled in a GIS or related degree program
- Proficiency in ESRI software and spatial analysis
- Detail-oriented and able to handle competing tasks
- Previous experience with data collection in the field is helpful
- Familiarity with remote sensing and data processing is advantageous
