JOIN THE KANDAVEL CAMPAIGN — CAMPAIGN INTERNS WANTED

Want to learn how a political campaign actually works?

Councillor Parthi Kandavel’s re-election campaign is recruiting Campaign Interns to join our team in Scarborough Southwest.

Interns will work directly alongside Councillor Kandavel and the campaign team, with a primary focus on door-to-door canvassing and voter outreach. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a competitive municipal election and learn how campaigns are organized from the ground up.

What you’ll do:

- Canvass with Councillor Kandavel and campaign staff
- Speak with residents about the issues affecting their neighbourhoods
- Help identify supporters and build voter contact
- Assist with campaign events and community outreach
- Gain exposure to campaign strategy, communications, data, volunteer organization and election-day planning
- Learn directly from experienced political and City Hall staff

Who we’re looking for:

You do not need previous campaign experience. We are looking for people who are reliable, hardworking, comfortable speaking with the public, eager to learn, and willing to spend significant time out in the community.

Evening and weekend availability is particularly valuable.

This is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates interested in politics, government, public policy, communications, community organizing or public service.

Pay: $1,000.00-$1,500.00 per month
