Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Cashier/Stock Person. Must have clean police clearance and previous experience working in liquor store. No emails apply in person only at 9444 149 street edmonton.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases, answering questions about products and services with enthusiasm.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions, handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely.
- Maintain organized merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques, ensuring products are attractive and accessible.
- Restock shelves promptly to keep the store well-supplied, paying close attention to inventory levels and product placement.
- Conduct product demos when applicable, highlighting features and benefits to encourage customer engagement and upselling opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication skills.
- Assist with inventory management by receiving shipments, verifying deliveries, and updating stock records accurately.
- Uphold store cleanliness and organization standards to create a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Skills
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer groups.
- Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with technology sales enhances your ability to assist customers confidently.
- Robust cashiering skills including cash handling, basic math proficiency, and familiarity with POS systems.
- Excellent customer service skills paired with effective communication and phone etiquette.
- Ability to perform product demos confidently while demonstrating technical knowledge when needed.
- Organizational skills for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store.
Pay: $15.00-$20.76 per hour
