BFL CANADA is looking for a Claims Examiner for its Vancouver Office!

Your tasks will include overseeing the resolution of claims on BFL CANADA Real Estate accounts, ensuring all processes are executed efficiently, and promoting BFL CANADA as the broker of choice.

Your day as a Claims Examiner: Upon notification of a new claim, reviews the relevant policy and gathers all necessary facts and information for the insurer. Conducts analysis of claims and coverage and recommends solutions to coverage issues. Provides technical expertise to internal and external clients regarding claims coverage.

Updates the broker on the status of the claim, if required. Carries on all tasks required by Delegated Authorities, notably examining reports, issuing payments, helping with month-end reports and reconciliation of payments.



Maintains current and accurate files and documentation for each claim.

Builds and maintains excellent working relationships with internal clients, adjusters, insurers and related trades and experts. Complies with all corporate policies and procedures. Develops claims management reports and distributes reports to management as required.

Supports the Claims team with problem files and difficult situations.
