The Ministry of the Solicitor General, Ontario Provincial Police, and the Regional Commander of North West Region is seeking a qualified individual to join our team. In this exciting, rewarding and challenging opportunity, you will provide operational and administrative support to the Kenora Detachment. This position requires the ability to work in detachment with a schedule that includes evenings, overnights, and weekends.

The Ontario Provincial

Police (OPP) is one of North America's largest deployed police services with more than 6,400 uniformed officers, 2,900 civilian employees and 530 Auxiliary officers. The OPP is a division of the Ministry of the Solicitor General, the largest operational ministry in the province with a presence in every community across Ontario. Serving with PRIDE, PROFESSIONALISM and HONOUR.

This position provides balanced administrative and operational support within a policing workplace, supporting uniform members and supervisors under established direction and supervision. Regular interaction with officers, supervisors, and partner units is a core component of the position. This permanent role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to frontline operations while developing expertise within police administrative processes. 40 wpm typing speed; ~ Ability to work 12 hour shifts in a 24-hour rotating shift environment.

Administrative and Computer Skills: Knowledge of computer operation and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and RMS/CPIC, to produce court documents, type correspondence, and manage data. Knowledge of records management practices record keeping technology to maintain an organized, up-to-date records system. Oral communication and interpersonal skills to interact with officers, and members of the public.

Ability to plan and prioritize administrative work on a daily basis. Demonstrated discretion,
