Company DescriptionTherapy Villa is a private-pay psychology and psychotherapy clinic in Etobicoke, serving clients across the Greater Toronto Area. Founded by Niyati Gandhi, M.A., a Clinical Psychologist registered in Ontario, the practice works with adults and couples using an integrative, evidence-based approach, with particular depth in trauma, mood and anxiety.

Our current team works with adults only. We have to turn away enquiries about teenagers and children every month because we have no clinician licensed for that population. We've decided to build that capability properly rather than bolt it on.

Role DescriptionThis is the first clinical role in a new child, adolescent and family division, not a vacancy on an existing team. We are looking for the clinician who will eventually run it.

We are starting from scratch on referral volume, and we would rather say so than claim momentum we don't have. We are not starting from scratch on infrastructure. You will have psychometrist support for test administration and scoring, a full current test library, and complete administrative handling — intake, scheduling, billing, parent communication, and records. You do the clinical work. We do everything else.

Assessments are priced on realistic total hours including report writing, not on face-to-face time with the rest absorbed into your evenings.

The work: psychological and psychoeducational assessment and therapy with adolescents, and family work where it serves the young person. Experience with children is valuable, and much of the assessment demand sits in that age range. Over time: supervision of clinicians and psychometrists, service design, and leadership of the division.

The structure: we expect to start part-time and contract-based, around whatever you're currently doing. We are not asking you to leave a reliable role for an unproven service. As volume builds, your share increases on a mutually agreed tier,



and you earn on supervision and on the work of clinicians you bring in and oversee — not only on your own hours.

When agreed milestones are met, the role becomes Director of Child, Adolescent and Family Services, with a guaranteed base, profit share in the division, paid non-clinical leadership time, and real authority over hiring and clinical direction.

Those milestones go in writing at the start. We know "you'll grow into leading this" is a promise many clinicians have heard and watched go nowhere. We would rather you held us to a document.

Qualifications

- Registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) for autonomous practice as a Psychologist, with children and adolescents among your authorized client populations, and clinical or school psychology among your authorized areas of practice.
- Master's or doctoral degree in clinical, school, or clinical child psychology.
- Experience conducting and interpreting psychoeducational and psychodiagnostic assessments with children and adolescents.
- Experience delivering evidence-based therapy with adolescents; family work an asset.
- Eligible and willing to provide clinical supervision, or interested in developing toward it.
- Registered Psychological Associates with the relevant authorized practice are welcome to apply — we'll be straight with you about what the supervision structure would need to look like.
