Looking for additional income in the evenings and on weekends?

We are a marketing fabrication company looking for an experienced CNC Programmer & Operator to join our team on a project-by-project basis.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on fabricator with strong CNC experience who can take designs and drawings and turn them into accurate, production-ready components for custom marketing displays, event installations, branded environments, props, signage, and experiential projects.

Responsibilities

- Program and operate CNC routers and related fabrication equipment
- Interpret CAD drawings, production drawings, and digital files
- Prepare files for CNC cutting, including toolpaths, nesting, feeds, speeds, and material selection
- Work with materials such as plywood, MDF, plastics, foam, composites, and other sheet goods
- Set up machines, select tooling, secure materials, and perform quality checks
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues
- Make adjustments to programs and cutting parameters as required
- Work closely with designers, fabricators, and project managers to meet project specifications and deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area
- Assist with hands-on fabrication,



assembly, finishing, and installation when required.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment where projects and priorities can change quickly

Qualifications & Experience

- Proven experience programming and operating CNC routers
- Strong understanding of CNC machining, tooling, feeds and speeds, and material behaviour
- Experience with CNC software such as VCarve, Aspire, Fusion 360, Mastercam, EnRoute, or similar
- Ability to read technical drawings and work from CAD files
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects
- Practical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in custom fabrication, signage, exhibit production, set building, millwork, or marketing/experiential production is an asset
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and changing production schedules
- Contract, project-based work
- Variety of creative and challenging projects
- Potential for ongoing work for the right person

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
