Working out of our Buffalo location, we are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team who brings solid programming, setup, and machining capabilities and is comfortable working with CNC lathes, CNC mills, and manual mills and lathes. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision work, enjoys solving machining challenges, and is looking for an opportunity to contribute their skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment. The CNC Machinist plays an important role in producing high-quality precision components for our customers.
This is a hands-on technical position for an experienced machinist who is comfortable programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment while helping develop practical machining solutions. You will work with CNC lathes, CNC mills, and manual mills and lathes and have the opportunity to contribute your knowledge in programming, tooling, fixtures, and process improvement. Work on a variety of precision machining projects.
Use your programming and machining experience from setup through finished part. Work with CNC lathes, CNC mills, and manual machining equipment. Work alongside Engineering, Quality, Production, and other skilled team members.
Continue developing your technical machining and programming expertise within a growing manufacturing environment. Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills. Monitor machining processes and make appropriate adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
Troubleshoot programming, tooling, workholding, dimensional, and machining concerns. Identify opportunities to improve setup time, cycle time, tooling life, quality, and repeatability. Maintain accurate setup, program, and production information.
Follow
Malach safety procedures, machine-specific work instructions, and quality requirements. Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other team members.
Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC machining equipment. Strong CNC lathe and CNC mill experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. A strong commitment to quality, safety, and producing work you are proud of.
Technical machining knowledge. You can confidently take a machining job from drawing through setup and completed part. You recognize machining concerns early and make practical adjustments before they become larger quality or production issues.
You produce quality work while keeping productivity and machining efficiency in mind. You communicate effectively with Engineering, Quality, Production, Maintenance, and your fellow machinists. You contribute ideas that help improve machining processes and strengthen the department.
