Scotia Truck and Trailer Repairs is looking for an experienced Commercial Transport Mechanic. We are located in the Tilbury area of Delta.

The position is full time, up to 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

- Repair automobiles specifically heavy duty trucks and trailers
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Troubleshoot vehicle complaints and perform necessary repairs
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Must know how to weld
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
- Document all work performed

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a mechanic
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Valid driver's license - Class 1 preferred

Market-competitive salary based on skill level. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$48.00 per hour
