Work with Safely Connected as a Communications Specialist, promoting crucial conversations around eating disorders. Lead in creating outreach and educational materials in an inclusive setting. This role offers a full time contract aimed at engaging youth and providers on eating disorders and mental health issues.
Your work will involve crafting compelling content that aligns with the organization’s anti-ableist and body-positive values. Collaborate to amplify the voices of marginalized communities while breaking down barriers to access and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design communication campaigns to elevate awareness • Update and create educational content for the organization • Research to understand audience trends and behaviors • Partner with others to develop inclusive content • Manage data collection on content engagement Requirements:
- Age range 15 to 30 at employment outset • Valid Canadian citizenship or permanent residency • Must possess a valid Social Insurance Number • Awareness of mental health initiatives essential • Graphic design and communication experience is an asset Leverage your skills to make a meaningful impact in mental health advocacy at Safely Connected.
