The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle

Campaign is part of a century old tradition to contribute towards building strong communities by helping TSA to give hope to others.

The Christmas Kettle

Host is a temporary seasonal position responsible for engaging donors, safeguarding donations, representing The Salvation Army in a professional manner, and supporting the successful operation of assigned kettle locations. Remain at the Kettle for the full shift (until relieved), ensuring security of donations received. Work with minimal supervision.

Must comply with all Salvation Army policies, procedures, and associated legislation. This is a minimum 15-hour a week temporary position (3-4 hour shifts) to start work on November 13, 2026. Shifts may include days, afternoons, evenings,



weekend shifts, Monday through Saturday.

Work in compliance with OH&S; Act and Regulations and abide by The Salvation Army’s health and safety policies and procedures. Completion of high school is an asset. Up to one year of related experience or working in customer service.

Robust customer service skills; Willingness to be flexible and work well under pressure with daily timelines and changing priorities.
