Contract Duration: 12 Months Additional Notes: Our client is seeking an Intermediate Accountant for a 12-month term to join their collaborative finance team within the business services group. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to a complex, multinational environment while supporting core accounting functions and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare and post general journal entries and maintain complete and accurate financial records, including ledgers, registers, and supporting documentation Perform detailed general ledger reconciliations and investigate variances, including intercompany balances and chargeback discrepancies Analyze financial results through balance sheet and income statement variance analysis, providing insights to support decision-making Account for property, plant, and equipment (PPE) transactions, including additions, disposals, and maintenance of construction-in-progress (CWIP) and fixed asset schedules Support external audit processes,
including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor requests Research and apply appropriate accounting treatments for routine transactions in accordance with applicable standards Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the design and implementation of more productive workflows Execute internal control procedures and ensure compliance with established policies and governance frameworks Minimum of 2 years of experience performing full-cycle accounting, supported by a bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent practical experience Active progression toward completion of the CPA (with plans to write the CFE within the next 12 months) is required Proficiency in MS Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, is essential, along with the ability to quickly learn new financial systems This role requires a high level of flexibility, including the ability to work additional hours during peak periods, and a commitment to working onsite a minimum of four days per week to support collaboration and team effectiveness Hands‑on experience working within a large, complex, multi-entity or multinational organization Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy, controls, or timelines Experience supporting audits in a publicly listed environment and confidently interacting with external auditors and cross-functional stakeholders ------------------------------------------------------------- AI may be used to support certain administrative aspects of our recruitment process.
