Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paint, stain, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and attention to detail
- Assist lead painters with setup, scaffolding, rigging, and material handling to streamline workflow
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings to follow project specifications accurately
- Support drywall installation, caulking, and restoration tasks as needed for comprehensive project completion
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to execute various painting and carpentry tasks




- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing supplies and disposing of waste properly to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements

- Previous construction experience or familiarity with building sites is highly preferred
- Knowledge of drywall installation, restoration techniques, and industrial or commercial painting practices
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions clearly
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of rigging procedures and safety protocols for scaffolding or lift setups
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
- Valid time management skills to meet project deadlines consistently
- Customer service mindset with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or site visitors
