We are looking for qualified Journeypeople and recognized accredited apprentices to join the team, advantage priority will go to current 170 members.

Compensation: $50.46 per hour based on union wage. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering,



brazing and welding equipment Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges Assist with material handling Maintain clean working area at all times, perform housekeeping duties on site Mechanical Aptitude Progress within the plumbing trade through a recognized apprenticeship program, Work at various construction sites and projects within British Columbia Ability to work on constructions sites which may be outside use proper lifting techniques for heavy pipes weighing in excess of 25 kilograms High School Graduate or equivalent Experience in commercial construction is an asset We firmly believe our employees are our best assets and we are committed to providing ongoing training and support to allow them to reach their full potential.
