Construction Site Coordinator

Homewell Construction Inc. is hiring a Construction Site Coordinator to assist with the day-to-day coordination and monitoring of renovation and construction projects.

Mandarin Chinese is required for this position. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English.

This position is primarily site-based. The successful candidate will be required to travel between the office and different project sites to monitor progress, coordinate trades, and report site conditions to the project team.

Job Responsibilities

- Visit project sites regularly to monitor construction progress and site conditions
- Follow up with subcontractors and trades regarding schedules and outstanding work
- Report site progress, deficiencies, and issues to the project management team
- Assist with project coordination from construction start through project completion
- Help coordinate site access, material deliveries, inspections, and other site activities
- Assist with resolving unexpected site issues and communicate with the appropriate parties
- Review construction drawings and confirm that site work generally follows project requirements
- Take site photos, measurements, and progress records when required
- Travel between the company office and various project locations as needed

Qualifications




- Mandarin Chinese is mandatory
- Must be able to communicate in both Mandarin and English
- Basic understanding of renovation and construction processes
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings
- Construction, renovation, site coordination, or related experience is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently on site
- Willing to learn and comfortable working in an active construction environment
- Must be flexible with company scheduling and project requirements, including:
- Night work
- After-hours work
- Overtime when required
- Out-of-town travel / business trips

Transportation Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's licence
- Must have your own vehicle
- Must be able to travel independently between the office and different project sites

Language Requirements
- Mandarin Chinese — required
- English — required for reading, writing, and workplace communication

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
