The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation of the food service, including meal preparation, inventory management, and grocery supply. They ensure the quality of service provided to employees, compliance with hygiene, health and safety standards, as well as the proper maintenance of the premises and equipment. Ensure inventory management and supply of groceries (food, dietary needs, maintenance needs)

- Ensure verification, rotation and storage of merchandise and limit losses
- Cook meals during service hours for employees




- Ensure customer and service satisfaction
- Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen premises and equipment
- Serve meals with courtesy and professionalism
- Comply with food specifications
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant kitchen experience
- Training as a food handler or hygiene manager (MAPAQ), an asset
- Functional bilingualism French/English, Inuktituk an asset
- The candidate will be considered as having no specific background and will travel throughout Nunavik;
