Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the food industry. Responsibilities include preparing high-quality menu items, maintaining excellent presentation standards, managing prep and inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment, and committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while adhering to quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food items.
- Greeting customers,



processing orders and payments.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

- Prior experience in Japanese cuisine and formal culinary training are preferred.
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry for at least 2 years.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, including ovens, grills, fryers, and knives.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
